Your details will not be passed on to any third parties. We may, however, periodically email you with information relating to this website and any forthcoming affiliated sites. If you wish to be removed from any mailing lists, please contact our sales team.
For security purposes, all online credit card transactions are captured and encrypted using a secure server. Vat is applied to our prices at the applicable rate.

Fish n Things reserves the right, at any time, to modify, alter, or update these Terms of Use, and you agree to be bound by such modifications, alterations, or updates.

All orders placed by you and purchases of goods from us (whether in-store, by telephone, via our website or by such other means as we may permit) are on the basis of these Terms and Conditions and are subject to acceptance by us either by delivery of the goods to you; or by providing the goods you have purchased to you at our counter, at which point a legally binding contract is constituted between us.
Ordering Goods
All orders placed through our website will be subject to our acceptance of the order.
When you submit an order to us on our website you will receive a 'bounce back' confirmatory email of this order saying that we are processing your order. You should check the email for accuracy and let us know immediately if there are any errors. This email does not constitute acceptance of the order by us. Your order will be accepted by us (and a contract will then be formed between us) when we despatch the goods to you. Title to the goods will pass to you on delivery.
Promotional codes are codes that enable customers to obtain benefits such as discounts, free delivery and free gifts. These codes are non-transferable so may only be used by the person to whom they are issued and must only be used in accordance with their terms and conditions of use. If you use a promotional code to claim a promotional benefit, you must first check that it was issued to you and that you are eligible to use it. By using it to claim a promotional benefit you will be confirming that:-

If, before accepting your order, we find that you are not entitled to use the code or do not meet all the terms and conditions of its use, we may reject your order or alternatively process it without the promotional benefit being applied. If, after accepting your order, we find that you were not entitled to use the code or did not meet all the terms and conditions of its use, we may reverse the benefit that you obtained. If you transacted on a cash basis e.g. by debit or credit card, we may take a further payment, equivalent to the value of the benefit obtained, from the card used. If you transacted on a credit basis, the value of the benefit obtained may be charged to your credit account.

RETURN POLICY
We will replace or refund most goods provided they are returned to us within 30 days of receipt complete, unused, in their original packaging and with any security tags intact. Unless goods are identified on the product page as non returnable and any such conditions are set out there. Return postage is paid by the consumer. Refunds are given on the cost of the product. We will not refund the postage cost. Refunds will be issued immediately after we receive the product and will be returned in the same way it was paid for, i.e. if you pay using Paypal we will refund you via Paypal. If you return goods outside the scope of our return policy and you have not exercised your legal right to cancel (explained below) we reserve the right to return the goods to you at your cost or to accept their return subject to making a deduction for any loss in value of the goods arising from your handling of them and a charge to cover our processing cost.
Your Right To Cancel Your Order under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations.
You also have the right to cancel your order under these regulations. However, this cancellation right does not apply to personalised products, perishable goods, audio & video recordings and computer software which has been opened and goods that are unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons if they are unsealed after delivery. The cancellation period will expire 7 days after the goods are received by you or by a third party nominated by you to receive the goods. If your order is for multiple goods for separate delivery, the cancellation period will end 7 days after receipt of the last item. You must clearly communicate your decision to cancel to us before the end of the cancellation period, for example by sending us a letter or email to fishnthings@mail.ru with the details before doing so as then we can expect your delivery back to ourselves and can process your return faster. Please post Non Faulty items for return to Fish n Things, 138 Dynevor Road, Skewen SA10 6TE. Please obtain a receipt for proof of delivery. Also include your name, order number and reason for return.
All items need to checked upon delivery before signed for, if item is damaged it has to be signed for as 'DAMAGED', we can not replace or refund any products when damage was found after being signed for.
If you cancel, we will reimburse the cost of the product only, not the delivery charge, by the original means of payment. Where the goods have not been delivered, the reimbursement will be made within 21 days of the cancellation (see LOST IN TRANSIT) . Where the goods have been delivered, the reimbursement will be made within 14 days of us receiving the goods back. You are responsible for returning the goods to us if you cancel under these Regulations. Additionally, we may make a deduction for any loss in value of the goods arising from any unnecessary handling by you.
LOST IN TRANSIT ITEMS U.K. ADDRESSES
In the unfortunate case where a order has not arrived within 21 days we should be informed, and a replacement will be sent on the next working day. If a refund is required as it is recommended by Royal Mail that a claim for lost item should be made after 21 days after posting as the items could be "returned to sender". A full refund will be made to the customer on the 22nd day after posting on the understanding that if the items turn up they will be paid for in full or returned and if they turn up before the 21st day we are informed via contact form.
Sale of Goods Act 1979
If any product we supply fails prematurely due to an inherent fault (manufacturing defect), we will provide you with an appropriate remedy e.g. a repair, replacement, or refund.
Balsa wood orders.
All orders smaller then the recommended size will be delayed by 24hrs or untill we receive a reply to our comfirmation email:-
Dear customer, Thank you for your order, as we stated on the description page small quantities of 3ft sheets do not survive in Royal mails hands, and though we will pack your order as well as we can we do NOT guarantee safe delivery, and the order will be sent entirely at your risk we will not replace any damaged balsa, we also ask that you reply to this email accepting those terms within 24 hours, if we do not receive a reply we will cancel the order and refund your money, if the same order is made we will cancel the order automatically and charge you an £5 admin fee, We have had to introduce this due to the large number of small orders being made resulting in a lot of damaged deliveries, dispatch will be delayed of upto 24hrs while we wait for a reply
