AIRFIX DE HAVILLAND DH.88 COMET 1/72

£5.99Price
One of the most prestigious air races of its day, the MacRobertson England to Austraila air race of 1934 was contested by three DH.88 Comet aircraft, with 'Black Magic' G-ACSP being the first to take off. Unfortunately engine problems curtailed its involvement while its sister machine Grosvenor House won the race. G-ACSR also suffered reliability issues during the race, but its high speed enabled it to finish in fourth position.
